D. Foy Christopherson's training in worship and the arts, theology and theatre, music and design, brings clarity and insight to understanding how worship spaces serve. He has served the church as a parish pastor, workshop and conference leader, congregational consultant, and former director of the ELCA's art and design studio, Augsburg Fortress Ecclesiastical Arts. Christopherson is the author of A Place of Encounter in Augsburg Fortress' Worship Matters series exploring the principles behind the Renewing Worship Project. He has also been a contributing writer for more than a dozen volumes of Sundays and Seasons. He was a member of the initial launch group of the Renewing Worship project and a reviewer of Principles for Worship Space. Pastor Christopherson is serving Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Henderson, as an interim pastor in the Minneapolis Area Synod, ELCA.
